Throwing It Back to 2019: The Chicago Board of Trade Experience
As we prepare to step into 2025, I couldn’t help but reflect on one of the most impactful moments in my journey—taking a group of my students to the Chicago Board of Trade back in 2019. It was more than just a visit to a trading floor; it was an eye-opening experience that solidified the mission of RFX: to empower and educate individuals to take control of their financial futures.
That trip was about more than learning—it was about exposure. For many of those students, it was the first time they stepped into a space where big financial moves were happening in real-time. The energy, the screens flashing with trades, the conversations—it gave them a glimpse of what’s possible when knowledge meets opportunity.
Looking back now, I see how far we’ve come since then. RFX has always been about transformation. It’s not just about teaching trading skills; it’s about changing lives. That trip planted seeds of belief in those students—and in me. It reminded me why I started this journey and why I’m committed to creating more opportunities for others.
Fast forward to today: 2024 has been a year of rediscovery and momentum. The Academy is preparing for its next chapter, and while I can’t share all the details just yet, let’s just say 2025 is going to bring some surprises. It’s been a while since RFX was fully active, but the comeback is brewing—and it’s going to be worth the wait.
To everyone who’s been part of this journey, thank you for your belief, support, and dedication. 2019 was just the beginning. The vision hasn’t changed—it’s only expanded. Get ready for what’s coming because 2025 is feeling like it’s going to be something special.
