Kindersmiles Daycare is a warm, loving, hands on playgroup/ daycare where we work with your schedule, open all year round, including winter break, Chol HaMoed, and summer. We take newborn and up. Some of the things we did for to get ready for Purim! The Kinderlauch made tzedakah box because it is a mitzvah to give tzedaka on Purim, hamentashen, and tomorrow they are making masks and groggers. Purim Sameach!!!

A little background of what we do here at Kindersmiles.
We celebrated the birthday of the trees also known as Tubeshat, with decorating cookies and decorating a birthday cake. We also made trees with our hands, using our arms as the trunk, hands for the branches, fingers for the fruits hanging from the trees.

This week in Kindersmiles the children learned a lot in the short week we have due to Thanksgiving.
They learned that Yitzchok was blind and could not see with his eyes therefore he would feel and understand Hashem’s world through the sense of touch. To replicate that the kinderlauch made a texture board (Arie Crown’s Morah Chaya Minkus) while closing their eyes to try and feel the different materials and guess if it was hard or soft, bumpy or smooth, etc.
They learned that Yaakov learned all day and Eisav was hairy and red because he hunted all day.

At Kindersmiles the kinderlauch learned that when Sarah Imeinu died the three miracles that occurred in her tent: the candles were always lit from one Shabbos to the next, challah, and the shechinah of Hashem went away and returned when Yitzchok Avinu married Rivka Imeinu. The kinderlauch made for their mommies candlesticks with the special brachos that they say by lecht bentching.

Kindersmiles Playgroup/ Daycare learned in Parshas L**h L**ha that Hashem told Avrohom Avinu was told to leave his fathers house and go to the land which I will show you: Eretz Cannan. We discussed what we need to bring on a trip and this is what the kinderlauch said; “When you are traveling you need three essentials: a suitcase, tefilas haderech, and yummy food to keep your tummy satisfied while traveling.

Hashem promised Avrohom that your children will be as many as the grains of sand.
