ChampYon Taekwondo USA is proud to announce the 2027 USA ChampYon All American Challenge International, returning to the Hammond Civic Center on Saturday, February 13, 2027.

This event is built for athletes, coaches, instructors, and families who value quality competition, strong sportsmanship, and meaningful development. Whether you’re preparing future champions or giving first-time competitors their opportunity to step onto the mat, our goal is simple:

Athletes can expect:

✅ Sparring, Forms, and Board Breaking
✅ Competition for all ages and ranks
✅ Daedo electronic scoring
✅ Experienced officials and referees from across the region
✅ Efficient event management and scheduling
✅ Double-elimination sparring divisions, creating valuable ring time and more opportunities to learn, adapt, and perform under pressure

Each year we continue working to elevate the tournament experience by bringing together talented athletes, respected coaches, and dedicated officials who share a passion for developing the next generation of martial artists.

We invite schools from across the Midwest and beyond to join us as we kick off the 2027 competition season together.

As Nationals season approaches for both AAU and USA Taekwondo, we wanted to create an environment where athletes can continue sharpening their skills through quality rounds, different styles, and real tournament-paced pressure.

The goal of this session is simple:

ChampYon Taekwondo USA is excited to announce our upcoming Parent Night Out — a fun-filled evening for all students to enjoy while parents take the night to relax! Join us for an exciting night of games, activities, food, and nonstop fun with our ChampYon family.

📅 Date: June 12
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM

🔥 THIS MONTH’S THEME: NERF WAR NIGHT 🔥

Get ready for an action-packed evening full of Nerf battles, team games, challenges, and exciting activities! Students who wish to participate in the Nerf War activities must bring their own Nerf toy blaster of their choice.

🍕 Food, drinks, and snacks will all be provided during the event.

Please remember the following:

❌ No uniforms required
❌ No indoor shoes allowed inside the facility

Students are encouraged to come comfortable and ready for activities.

Not interested in Nerf games? No problem! Additional games and activities will also be available throughout the night for students who would rather participate in other fun activities.

⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDER:

All students attending Parent Night Out must complete an application/payment form with updated child information before attending the event. Forms must be submitted prior to participation.

This is a great opportunity for students to spend time with friends, build teamwork, and enjoy a safe and exciting night at ChampYon.

🎉 Theme Weeks are coming to ChampYon for the month of June!

We’re keeping the start of summer fun, energetic, and full of spirit — while still staying focused and disciplined in our Taekwondo training.

This week’s themes:

🧸 Monday & Tuesday: Bring your favorite stuffed animal/stuffy to class🤪 Wednesday & Thursday: Crazy Hair Day

Participation is completely optional. If you join the fun, please make sure all attire is appropriate for class and training.

If you choose not to participate, please come in your regular Taekwondo uniform with belt, or a Taekwondo shirt, TKD pants, and belt.

🥈 American East 2026 🥈

Another valuable day of competition and growth for Ivan Brand Gonzalez and Mari Navarro in the Under 21 World Class Division.

Ivan put together a strong performance against a very technical opponent, while Mari faced a tough and experienced competitor. Competing at this level means constantly challenging yourself against some of the best athletes in the region.

Every match provides lessons, experience, and motivation for the next step forward.
