After 21 years of joyful service and over 1000 children and families served, A Child’s Space enters a new era!
We want to thank the thousands of children, families, teachers, vendors and friends who have shared space with us over the years. It’s been a wonderful journey filled with ups and downs (thankfully mostly ups ☺️!)
Every experience brought learning, growth and joy. They also taught us a bit more about Grace as we both gave and received it over the years.
We accomplished our mission to create the “Happiest place for children to grow and learn!” Now we’re ready for a new challenge and opportunity to serve the field of Early Childhood Education. In the coming months, the A Child’s Space brand will transitions from providing direct services to children and families to providing services to support those who love, nurture and provide spaces for children to grow and learn.
We look forward to the reach and impact that we’ll make as we begin this next season of our journey!

For 21 years, we've provided a nurturing, fun, safe, happy learning space for over 900 children! Our hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
We are conveniently located in Chicago’s South Loop Community at the corner of 11th and Wabash. In January of 2022, we will resume our exciting Date Night, Satur"Day" care and Drop in Services! Reserve Your child's space today! Our 5200 square foot "loft-like” space offers loads of beautiful natural sunlight and many opportunities for children to learn in a setting that was created and designed with children in mind!
21 years ago A Child’s Space was born. We opened our doors and are so grateful to still be here today creating a happy place for children to grow and learn!

It's our developmentally appropriate way of showing children the POWER they have and encouraging the importance of kindness, love and sharing with others!
DREAM DAY is about helping our youngest children realize that they are special because of who they are and that they have the POWER to change the world with their very own DREAM!

It's the Most wonderful time of the year...
We love Celebrating the season at A Child's Space and learning about all the ways people around the world celebrate. So far we've explored ! Our Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and St. Nick's Day to name a few. Here are few simple crafts using can do at home using simple materials and recyclables from the kitchen and bath!

One of our favorite things to do with the children at ACS is to get in our STEM LAB and cook up yummy treats. Cooking teaches children important math and science skills as they measure and watch things turn from one form to the next. It's also builds confidence, encourages creativity and is simply FUN!
