Hello there! We have a proposition for you that is worth the effort of stepping out in the winter. JFAS is selling discounted Con+Alt+Delete tickets! Only $20 for IIT students.
The anime convention happens December 15th-17th, Hyatt Regency O'Hare, Rosemont. We highly recommend attending!
Please read the following instructions carefully:
1. We also have a hotel room at the Hyatt for the entire event, at only $10 a person! If you want a spot, email us at [email protected] BEFORE buying a ticket. We'll sell you the ticket and room together
2. For the rest of you, go to iittickets.universitytickets.com Register with your student account if you haven't already, and you'll see the sale on the front page. Tickets are limited and first-come first-serve, so act quickly!

JFAS is looking for any and all creative heads to help us with a logo! Your design could be the official face of JFAS: on our on-campus banners, flyers and social media.

First Prize: $50 Amazon Wishlist or equivalent

Third Prize: $20 Amazon Wishlist or equivalent

The rules are simple : Must include our acronym and must be appropriate to post publicly. Please make it a digital submission so we can use it online. Ensure that the design is an original work and does not include any copyrighted images.

I know we can all live without talking about the Netflix Death Note. I caught a bit of it and from what I can see, the single most disappointing factor was simply how unfaithful the characters were to the original ones, personality wise. Do you think we should stop comparing and watch live actions as standalone? I didn't watch the entire thing so I may be wrong. Feel free to correct me...
