GDE members and guests—you won’t want to miss this!🦷 💫

Just when the “5 Questions” became second nature, we added one more.

The 6th Question is here—and it’s changing how we think about maxillary diagnosis by expanding into A/P and transverse dimensions, with airway in mind.

Join us this Wednesday as we break it down and continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in diagnosis and patient care.

See you on Wednesday!🌟

A friend to many and a true thought leader, Dr. Jeff Rouse continues to challenge how we think about dentistry 🦷—and this presentation is no exception.

GDE Members and guests join us this Wednesday!

We’ve all been taught to view tooth wear through a mechanical lens—attrition, abrasion, erosion. But what if the real driver is biological?

In this session, Jeff will break down traditional theories and introduce a powerful new perspective rooted in airway and breathing physiology. You’ll walk away with:

• A clearer way to diagnose patterns of tooth wear 🔍
• A deeper understanding of the biological “why” behind them
• Practical solutions that improve both patient health and dentition

This is one you don’t want to miss

We’re excited to welcome a truly exceptional guest to GDE for the very first time — Dr. Michael Sonick.

A renowned periodontist, educator at NYU and University of Connecticut, and now author, Dr. Sonick brings a rare blend of clinical excellence and human insight. His latest work explores something we don’t talk about enough in dentistry: the behavioral side of how we care for people.

“Treating People, Not Patients” is more than a concept, it’s a transformational approach to building a practice rooted in hospitality, connection, and purpose.

In this session, you’ll learn how to:
✨ Elevate patient experience through intentional hospitality
✨ Build meaningful human connections that drive trust
✨ Create a first-class, high-touch office environment
✨ Develop a servant-hearted team that delivers a WOW experience
✨ Leverage mentorship to cultivate long-term excellence

If you’re ready to rethink how you serve — and ultimately grow — your practice, you won’t want to miss this.

Join us and be part of the conversation.

🦷 GDE Members & Guests — Join Us Tomorrow!

We’re excited to welcome a great friend of the GDE community, Dr Bo Bruce, as our guest presenter. Many know Bo from his time at The Dawson Academy, where he developed a reputation for making complex topics clear, practical, and immediately useful in practice.

Tomorrow he’ll be tackling one of the most misunderstood areas in dentistry: TMD (Temporomandibular Disorders).

Many clinicians either avoid these patients altogether or feel overwhelmed when diagnosing and treating them. Dr. Bruce will simplify the process and give you a clear, practical framework you can use right away.

✨ What you’ll learn:
✔️ How to simplify TMD diagnosis using Piper’s Classification
✔️ How to differentiate safe vs. high-risk TMD patients
✔️ 3 practical tools to help you confidently treat the majority of TMD cases

This is a great session for both GDE members and guests, so feel free to invite a colleague who would benefit from the discussion.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! 👏

CBCT. APE. DAE. ECL.

Too much alphabet soup? Let’s break it down together TONIGHT!

Join your fellow GDE members tomorrow for an exceptional educational session featuring Dr. Matt Lark, who will walk us through a clear, practical methodology for comprehensive CBCT analysis.

We’ll also review real cases presented by Dr Sandra Brand demonstrating how the Global Diagnosis protocol helps identify Altered Passive Eruption (APE), Dentoalveolar Extrusion (DAE), and other critical findings — followed by a literature review and a detailed look at Esthetic Crown Lengthening (ECL) and Bill’s proven clinical technique.

This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your diagnostic confidence, sharpen your clinical eye, and connect with our incredible GDE community.
