UIC Sustainability in Medicine

The purpose of Sustainability in Medicine is to find environmentally friendly ways of practicing medicine.

This includes lowering waste, recycling, and reusing medical supplies when possible. By being more cognizant of the environment when providing care, we increase the quality of life of the local and global population.
