Say Yes To Tennis for Family fun!

We kicked off our virtual tennis program this week! Last week the teens picked up the equipment: racquet, balls, pedometers (so they can log their activity) jump rope, poster boards for independent projects they have to do, like The Arthur Ashe essay application. Additionally, we have $25 gift cards to help families with essential needs. Oh! We also gave out 10 tablets for teens that did not have a device to participate virtually! We are using Google Meets and Google Classroom and it’s great! We have 60 kids in total participating!

Yesterday was a great day! Over 60 new and returning players showed up with their parents to pick up equipment and supplies for our 2020 summer tennis re-imagined program.
We also partnered with the 8th district police department to learn of the many programs available to young people and help teens foster a sense of trust and community with our local law enforcement.
