This past Sunday, CDI hosted its 16th Annual Legacy Celebration! Our Legacy Celebration highlighted the resilience, strength, and courage of our grads. Always remember, as the Legacy Celebration speaker Rylee Abaya shared: "All you need is love!" ❤️ Keep leaning on your community and never cease to show up as your authentic selves. 🎓💪
Congratulations Class of 2024 for unveiling a new chapter of your lives!
Sixty years ago, Martin Luther King Jr. delivered the "I Have a Dream" speech that defined the civil rights movement to over 250,000 people.
As we reflect on his powerful words recited by student leaders in this video, we ask you, what is your dream for the next 60 years? Share it with us at one of our imagining session events across all campuses this week to envision our shared future.

We need a plan for action! Join the discussion for forward-thinking conversations focused on solutions.
Three months ago, the University welcomed Dominique Jordan Turner, our first Vice President of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We are thrilled to welcome Dominique and to build an authentic and collaborative relationship with her office. I’m excited to share that she has asked our office to cohost a solution-oriented conversation about Race and Ethnicity & LGTBQIA+.
As you know, the past two years have been filled with listening sessions, a racial justice examen, the launch of the anti-racism initiative, and now the creation of a new office for institutional diversity, equity and inclusion. These roundtable discussions will take what we’ve shared and begin to address them with solutions to creating a more diverse, welcoming, and inclusive university. This is where your voice matters!
Given that, the roundtables will be organized by topics (e.g. gender diversity, religious diversity, LGBTQIA+, diversity in the classroom). Roundtables are also open to students, faculty, and staff.
Visit: luc.edu/planforaction to register.
