At the Writing Center, students work with trained undergraduate and graduate student tutors who can converse with writers about any writing task. Here are the kinds of writing that a Writing Center tutor can help with:

Is the Writing Center for me? The Writing Center is for a

nyone who wants become a better writer. The Writing Center is open to students across the university—from all disciplines and from every skill level. At the Writing Center, we know that all students will benefit from sessions with a Writing Center tutor. The Writing Center also offers several services for faculty. How do I make an appointment? The Writing Center offers in-person sessions in the Writing Center in the 10th floor of the auditorium building in the new Learning Commons and online sessions through our Blackboard page. Tutoring sessions are free and appointments can be made on our website: http://www.roosevelt.edu/CAS/Programs/LIT/WritingCenter/ForStudents.aspx , by phone at 312-341-2206 or by email [email protected]. For immediate appointments, students can drop by the Writing Center to see if a tutor is available.
