With the passing of Avalon Agency's founder the late, great, talented Ms. Patricia Batson Avalon Agency has been on hold until now.
Patricia left such a void not only in Avalon but in this world when she left it. There will never be anyone like her again or anyone that can replace her. For those that knew her personally know what I am talking about; her love, warmth and humor is VERY MISSED and always will be.
With all that being said, Avalon marches on in 2023 with the help of current and past students but also with actor, comedian & author Dan Goldrosen who will be joining the leadership team at Avalon. Dan has an extensive and quite impressive bio that includes having a Master's Degree in the Arts, working in front of & behind the camera on many television shows and films including the shows "Shameless" & "Empire" where he was a regular. Dan is also a fellow cast member of "Welcome To M & M Electronics". During the time of the play in 2017 both Pat & I got to know Dan very well and we both became friends with him.
But it is not his credits or talent that impressed us the most; it is Dan the person who reached us both. His love for God, his family, this great country and for the Arts is apparent when you get to know him. I hope more of you folks will get to know him and work with him.

Hey there, this is Pat and I'm grateful that Avalon Agency hit the road recently and had an amazing experience working on an indie music documentary, which took me to Pittsburgh, PA and New York, NY!!

Here are a few shots of my trip, including one with actor Morgan Kivlin, who just landed the lead role in a film and she recently signed a deal with Netflix, along with Michael Crowley, music director and disc jockey at WISR AM, as well as some stunning views of downtown Pittsburgh and Manhattan. ❤️

***UPDATE!! Our amazing student Taressa did it..she was accepted to the prestigious Stella Adler in New York for their masters program!! She will be part of the same history as legends Marlon Brando and Robert Deniro. Wow. We are so proud of you Taressa Lewis!!

Today I feel like a proud momma as I share one of our star "kids" at Avalon, Taressa Renee. This lovely woman is going after her dreams big time... not only gave a stunning audition at Steppenwolf Theatre but got a final callback for an advanced program at the prestigious Stella Adler in New York!

In only 4 months Taressa has grown so much as an actor because of her positive attitude, hard work, determination and focus to improve herself personally and professionally. Way to go Taressa Lewis!! Robert and I are really excited for you and will be there cheering you on every step of the way.

(This is a post I wrote on my personal page. This is truly what's closest to my heart and I wanted to help spread the word )

I don't know if I'm speaking to others as well as to myself but what's on my mind is the emptiness and loneliness I sometimes feel. Even though I am blessed and have been delivered from the darkest place in my soul, I realize the emptiness is because I have strayed away far too often lately from what really matters to me, and instead focusing too much on my own drama.

I have been homeless, deep in poverty and lost everything in my life. If not for the grace of God and the help of angels in my life, I could not have survived. Ever since I was a kid, my heart has been with the poor and homeless and I guess to understand them better, I had to become one of them. I speak from first-hand experience to say being poor and displaced is one of the most gut-wrenching, humbling and frightening things to endure. I thank God and each and every person that was sent into my little world to help me through the darkest of storms. I was blessed beyond anything that I've ever deserved and I want others to know that kind of love and hope too.

So I am asking my Facebook family to please reach out to those in your own life who are in need. Whether it be people you love and know personally, or a church, homeless shelter, disabled veterans, food pantry, animal rescue, whatever is near and dear to your heart, I implore you to please rescue them.

It doesn't matter how rich or poor you are, we can all give of what we have and don't have, including our love and our time, volunteer a day or two at a soup kitchen, donate food or clothing to a homeless shelter, serving Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner to the needy, donating blankets and food to pet rescue facilities or simply reaching out to a hurting soul that needs love.

Even if you just share this post and encourage others, you will be doing something extraordinary. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for what you have done and will do for others, for even the smallest heartfelt gesture and love can change things.

For my local Chicago friends here are just a few places to consider and feel free to add your own churches and organizations (wherever you live!) that may need our help, and hopefully someone reaches out to them as well - thank you!!

I'm feeling extremely blessed and humbled by God's amazing grace in my life. After years of heartbreak and devastating loss and tragedy, we are getting a second chance at life.

The breathtaking photos will be the new home of Avalon Agency Chicago starting next week! Robert and I are overwhelmed at this opportunity and excited to be welcoming our clients into such a spectacular facility with an iconic Chicago history dating back to 1909. The beach photos are literally the view from our office...wow. So grateful to the One who makes a way where there is no way!

Hello and happy Friday!

Wow, we not only have the coolest friends, but the most supportive - thank you to those wonderful folks who already came out to see our CAS one-act plays!

A huge thanks goes out especially to those who came to cheer on the directorial debut of Robert Levy, who also co-wrote the original comedy script with Milin Chandna and myself, and to see Dan Goldrosen, Jason Sydoryk, Oliver James, our special guests and yours truly performing on the lovely Chicago Actors Studio stage. We are humbled and truly grateful for the love and support!

I'm receiving a lot of calls and messages about our show dates, so I wanted to clear up any confusion. There are four one-acts on a rotating performance schedule - "The Boor," "The Case of the Crushed Petunias," "The Dumb Waiter" and "Welcome to M&M Electronics."

If you want to see our show "Welcome to M&M Electronics" we are NOT on the stage tonight, April 28. Our performances are Saturday April 29, May 6-7 and May 12-13.

Hey guys, this is Pat from Avalon Agency Chicago. Musician Robert Levy is a highly accomplished performer who has played at venues throughout the United States including Illinois, California, Michigan, Missouri and Wisconsin, with air play on radio stations across the U.S. and Europe. Robert is currently a powerful solo acoustic musician, but was the lead singer & lyricist for various rock bands, including Midnight Swim.

Actor/director Mary Reynard Liss described Robert's music and his band Midnight Swim as..."It's like Led Zeppelin, Jim Morrison and Steven Tyler rolled up into one amazing Sound!"
