2026 Re-Storying Institute: Weaving New Worlds

Make plans to join other leaders, practitioners, artists, healers, and community builders in Winston-Salem, NC for a transformative three-day experience centered on care, connection, and collective thriving.�

Hosted in collaboration with the Sacred Memory Project, the Faith Compass Center at Wake Forest University School of Divinity, and the 1Love Festival, this year’s Institute will focus deeply on re-storying HIV/AIDS — moving beyond stigma and fear to center dignity, healing, mutual aid, and the wisdom of those most impacted.

At the heart of this work is a powerful question: What would it look like to live into a different story?
Through guided conversations, collaborative learning, story sharing, and hands-on experiences, participants will explore new ways of leading, living, and caring for one another in a world too often shaped by scarcity and division.

This is more than a conference.�
It’s an invitation to reimagine how we build community, practice faith, and create systems rooted in reciprocity, trust, and shared well-being.

The time is now to register and step into the work.

For Kenith Bergeron, it looks like mentorship circles, honest conversations, rites of passage, and young people learning how to step into adulthood with wisdom, confidence, and purpose.
