DePaul Betas LatinoFEST is the yearly event DePaul Betas are known for and it occurs in the Spring Quarter.
Locally Sigma Lambda Beta - Sigma Alpha Chapter is well known for the quality of its programs since it was established in 1996 becoming the first Latino Fraternity in the history of DePaul University. Sigma Lambda Beta -Sigma Alpha Chapter has enriched the DePaul community for over 15 years by bringing important figures through educational programming such as Russell Simmons and Jaime Escalante.

Today, our brother Misael and his daughter Analia, attended Impact day. They had a great time create food bags and cleaning windows💜 It’s great to see our brother instilling the principle of community service to his daughter. Last night out brothers Mático and Ban-Jee were present at our brother Xio’s Criminology Senior Night. We are proud of our brother for earning a Certificate of Achievement from the Criminology Department alongside his peers, proudly serving as Vice President for the Criminology Honor Society.
The dedication, passion, and energy our brother demonstrates in and out of Sigma Lambda Beta is a testament to the value he brings in the fraternity and the people around him. We couldn’t be more proud of you Xio!

Our brothers have been putting in work with two impactful volunteer events! 💯💪🏽
On Tuesday, brothers Manny and Misael volunteered at La Casa Norte alongside our brother from Alpha Chapter and the sisters of Sigma Lambda Gamma. They contributed to beautifying the space, helping to create a more welcoming environment for youth and families experiencing homelessness.
On Saturday, our brother Misael joined SLGCMMA at the Teen Bash, where Mayor Brandon Johnson highlighted the importance of investing in our youth. This event provided teens with access to resources, fun activities, and opportunities for personal growth. Proud to see our community coming together to uplift and support the next generation!

Buy a Toy, Give a Smile!
Sigma Lambda Beta - Sigma Alpha Chapter is partnering with Advocate Children’s Hospital of Oak Lawn to turn collectibles into care. For just $10, you can “purchase” a Funko Pop! or action figure, and we’ll donate it to the kids through their Child Life Program, which provides toys, play therapy, and emotional support to young patients.
100% of proceeds will go to the families in need fund at Advocate Children’s to help struggling families stay afloat while their child is receiving care.
Want to make an even bigger impact? Additional monetary donations are also welcomed and encouraged.
This event will go on until Friday March 7th, 2025. If the toys are sold before hand we encourage everyone to continue to donate💜🤍
