Founded in 1983, Kidwatch® began as an afterschool program for children attending local schools. In June of 1985, services were expanded to include preschool (both full and pa

rt-time), Kindergarten and Summer Camp. The infant/toddler center was opened in September 1989 and today, Kidwatch services 130 children from over 100 different families. PHILOSOPHY

As we bridge the gap from home to child care center, we guide children to a positive self-image while building social skills in a group setting. We treat each child as an individual, working from the level each child has attained and move forward one step at a time. We offer a caring and positive environment in which your child can learn, be loved and feel secure.

💦Chopin Park Water Feature Rehab! 💦

In 2026 Chopin Park (3240 N. Long) will receive a new spray pool. The Chicago Park District will rehabilitate the existing spray pool by converting it into a splash pad without standing water.

Please let the Chicago Park District know which option you prefer by voting in person at Chopin Part or via the link in the comments.
