The Marist Brothers of the Schools were founded in 1817 rural France by Saint Marcellin Champagnat in order to provide a quality education and make Jesus known and loved to those among him. Blessed with his founding spirit, the Marist Brothers continue to bring this time-honored tradition and mission to students around the world. On Friday, Marist High School welcomed home over 110 members from the Marist Class of 1976 to celebrate their 50th Class Reunion! It was a wonderful day and evening celebrating, reconnecting and reminiscing and a great reminder that no matter where life takes you, Marist will always be home.

Philip Haddad '25 completed an internship with Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program. The topic of the REU program was Trustworthy AI and Security for Intelligent Vehicles and Transportation Systems. Philip’s project dealt with the threat that Quantum Computers pose with breaking cryptography, and how this threat impacts smart vehicle communication. As he heads back to Alabama for his sophomore year, Philip will continue his research on this topic and prepare it for publication.
