Talcott Fine Arts and Museum Academy (Talcott Elementary) is a public school located in the West Town neighborhood on Chicago’s west side. Eighty-five percent of Talcott Elementary students identify as Hispanic or Latinx. Talcott’s Dual Language program utilizes Spanish and English in instruction, promoting both bilingualism and biliteracy - the ability to read and write in two languages.

WITS has partnered with Talcott Elementary since 2004, giving thousands of diverse books that reflect their unique student population. These books lay the foundation for a lifelong love of reading and learning.
