Congratulations are in order for our classmate Earl Grandberry Sr., who was recognized by the City of Chicago for his acts of kindness towards citizens.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Chicago Transit Authority and Chicago Public Schools announced a new scholarship fund to help economically disadvantaged students pursue careers in construction and engineering.

The CTA Elevating Futures Red Line Extension Scholarship Fund will award $3,000 scholarships to three students each year from 2026 to 2030, helping create more opportunities for Chicago students interested in infrastructure and transportation careers. via
