Students in the Communication Design department started their typeface comparison books in the Digital Typography class this week. The assignment compares two similar typefaces or the same typeface from two different foundries. The 8-page booklet compares and contrasts the differences. This class teaches all you need to know about typography from what typeface to use to designing with them. From 2020: (left-right) Samuel Obi, Jordan Thomas, and Julian Aparicio-Gomez.

The Communication Design AAS at Kennedy-King College teaches design for a variety of media. Learn website design, the fundamentals of typography, publication design, motion graphics, 2D animation, and packaging—all in one program.
