The end of the year at Schurz IB is in full swing! Sophomore MYP students present their Personal Projects and Junior DP students present their Theory of Knowledge work to teachers, students, and families. All presenters were nervous, but they pulled through with aplomb. In the words of an IB teacher, "I've never been so impressed!" Although we are pretty sure he says that every year. 😉

Meet Yovannie D., Schurz’s FIRST People’s Gas Bright Futures Graduate!

The People’s Gas Bright Futures Program is a multiphase, 2 year program that starts during a student’s junior year. Entry into Phase 1 of the program does not guarantee acceptance to the next phase and each of the 3 Phases of the program include rigorous interviews and evaluations of student fit and motivation. Completion of this program leads to a Career with People’s Gas.

Yovannie has grown and excelled in every step of this program and has made the entire Bulldog family incredibly proud of his commitment, his diligence, his professionalism and his curiosity to learn more!

During our Music That Heals event students expressed their feelings and emotions through creative album covers that highlighted the power of music and mental health awareness.
