The University of Chicago's Collegiate Scholars Program (CSP) is currently open and accepting applications for the CSP Class of 2028. Current 9th-grade students are encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply is Friday, February 7, 2025. Please see the link in our bio! This week, 40 Chicago public high school student participants in our UChicago Office of Civic Engagement - College and Career Readiness programs got a chance to explore STEM majors and experience college life during an action-packed overnight visit to University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's campus! Students took part in classroom visits, tours, discussions with current undergraduates, and more.

DEADLINE APPROACHING: The South Side College and Career Catalyst Program is still accepting applications! The free multi-year program for Chicago public high school students offers a 6-week on-campus summer session including a residential stay, academic tutoring and college advising support, local and national college tours, year-round college and career readiness workshops, and more! Priority will be given to low-income or first-generation college students who live or attend school in our South Side focus area. Apply by Oct. 31!

The Office of Civic Engagement’s South Side College and Career Catalyst (C3) program is currently open and accepting applications for current high school students in grades 9-11! The deadline to apply is Thursday, October 31st! If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected].

Middle school and high school students are invited to attend this free event on April 27 at the University of Chicago! Attendees will learn about financial aid, scholarships, and college selection.
