Hi everyone - Elevate UChicago is currently recruiting for our 2019-2020 Elevate UChicago Board! Join us in planning the third annual Elevate UChicago women-empowerment conference; RSVP to our interest meeting on Wednesday May 22nd from 5-6PM in Reg Room 402!
Our mission is to connect and empower undergraduate and graduate women across the university by organizing and hosting an annual Elevate UChicago Conference: an intimate platform to share the experiences of diverse women-leaders with collegiate women across the University community and help them cultivate professional skills and relationships amongst each other.
As a member, you get to engage with impressive professionals in a variety of fields; our past speakers include Valerie Jarrett and Lisa Madigan. You also get to work with a diverse team of women from the Booth School of Business, Harris School of Public Policy, the College, and with the Dean of Students!

Our Story
Elevate UChicago was founded by four students from the University of Chicago and one student from Northwestern University in July 2017. The founders connected by attending the United State of Women, Galvanize Chicago empowerment event. They all wanted to create a similar event tailored towards collegiate women. Since then, Elevate UChicago has partnered with other women-focused groups across UChicago campus divisions including Women in Business (Booth), Women in Public Service Program (The College), and Women in Public Policy (Harris). Elevate UChicago is a recognized student organization at the University of Chicago, advised by Michele Rasmussen, the Dean of Students in the University.
