Congratulations to Kinesiology Clinical Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies Dr. Joshua Miller on the publication of his new book! Dr. Miller serves as the lead author of the Laboratory Manual for Strength and Conditioning. This text can be a useful resource as students prepare for a career as a strength and conditioning coach, athletic trainer, physical therapist, or personal trainer. The labs cover seven major aspects of strength and conditioning including speed, power, flexibility, agility, and fitness.

This month we will be sharing ways our community gets outdoors. First up, earlier this week AHS Assistant Dean Viviana Kabbabe-Thompson chaperoned a group of UIC students on a bike ride through the city! The intent of the ride, co-sponsored by , was to help students get comfortable navigating around city streets, and they hope to make this a monthly event!
