Congratulations to EXERTLab faculty Dr. Severin, and director Dr. Phillips for their new publication in the prestigious European Respiratory Review!
Their paper discusses how SARS-CoV-2 infection itself may cause damage to the respiratory muscles and may contribute to the acute and persistent dyspnea in patients with COVID-19. They conclude that respiratory muscle testing and training is important for patients with COVID-19.
