St. Christina School This page is dedicated to the administration, faculty, religious community, and parish family of St. St. Christina School is a vital part of the larger St.

Christina Parish community located in the Mount Greenwood neighborhood in the City of Chicago. Today, we continue our mission as a parish school, but we certainly have grown over the years. Typical school day hours for K-8: 7:40 a.m. – 2:30p.m. Before and After Care: Students are welcome to come to campus as early as 6:30 a.m. each morning where they will be monitored by our faculty and staff before the school day begins. Additionally, many students stay on campus after dismissal for after care until 5:30 p.m. or until after their last after school activity. Students signed-up for after care pay an additional fee on their tuition costs. Uniforms: Students wear a required uniform each day as outlined in our student handbook. There are some special out of uniform days announced each year. School colors: Red and white

Sometimes, the best surprises are the ones that remind us why we do what we do. ❤️

Today, a few of our St. Christina alumni, now students at Marist High School Chicago, returned to surprise two of their former teachers and let them know just how much of a difference they made in their lives.

Moments like these mean more than words can say. And they make us wonder…do our students know just how much of a difference they make in our lives, too?

It takes a big heart to lead a school...and a little courage to let a Jesse White Tumbler fly over your head! ❤️ Here’s to Mrs. Spano, who brings both to St. Christina every day.

Whether she’s sharing a smile in the hallway, joining service projects, or leading assemblies, her love for our Cardinals shines through. Her dedication to strong academics and meaningful professional development gives our students, and the teachers who guide them, opportunities to keep growing. God bless all the school principals out there!
