Hello Everyone!Poms team is back!We will be hosting a training, conditioning camp, and a performance at the new teacher orientation! Practice will begin Monday, July 26th.
WHAT: ANYBODY who is interested in participating MUST complete the attached High School Athletic Packet, which includes an athletic physical form.
HOW: This can be completed through a doctor's appointment, at select CVS, Walgreens, or other health clinics. This must be completed and brought to the first day of camp.
WHEN: Camp has a start date of Monday July 26, 2021. and run until Teacher Orientation on August 11th. 2pm -5pm *Mon-Thu no camp on Fridays

The camp will be 7/26-8/11 and begin in the afternoons just in case you are also doing volleyball camp. This will give you time to eat lunch and return. (please bring a lunch if you are worried about being on time). Accurate dates and times for camp and tryouts will be updated in the Google Classroom page. Make sure you join and check the page periodically so you do not miss out!

FAQ's: PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO ANY AND ALL INCOMING FRESHMEN THAT YOU KNOW ARE COMING TO SOTO! ALSO, TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS JUST IN CASE THEY DO NOT CHECK THEIR EMAIL!
ADDITIONALLY, VACCINATED STUDENTS WILL NOT NEED TO WEAR A MASK, SUBJECT TO CHANGE. A COPY OF YOUR VACCINATION CARD WILL BE NEEDED OR BRING IT TO PRACTICE SO A PICTURE CAN BE TAKEN TO BE PUT ON RECORD. PLEASE BRING A MASK TO WEAR IF YOU ARE NOT FULLY VACCINATED. (THAT MEANS 2 WEEKS PAST YOUR LAST SHOT). PHYSICALS ARE GOOD FOR 1 YEAR SO PLEASE CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR PHYSICAL IF YOU WERE WORKING WITH ME LAST YEAR.

CALLING ALL VETERAN POMS TEAM MEMBERS!
I know we have not posted in a while but with the pandemic, our season was cancelled. We are working out together as a team every week virtually to stay connected and bonded, but now I am calling out to all of our veterans!!!
We have been asked to put together a video for National Dance Day. We will be doing a video montage of all of us dancing. I would love to include a veterans part and would love if you could submit a short couple seconds of you dancing!
💡 IDEAS:
•Record a TikTok dance trend
•Record a couple of seconds of your favorite dance move. Even line dances from years past. Wobble, Walk it Out, macarena.... go for it!
•Play a song and dance with your family. If you and your little siblings jam out to some Baby Shark! Go for it! They even have a trap version! Haha!
•Grab your partner and dance to your favorite song
•Pets welcome too! Here is my Lily Pad getting her groove on.
•Any ideas you have are welcome and encouraged
