Thomas the Apostle is a Catholic elementary school that serves God's Students in Extraordinary Variety in Pre-K through 8th grade. At STA, children are inspired to academic excellence, instilled with faith values and involved in a caring community.

We were excited to host our After-School Enrichment Fair and showcase the many wonderful programs available to our STA students this school year!
Families had the opportunity to learn more about our school-led enrichment activities and meet several of our third-party program partners, including:

🎻 Private Violin Instruction
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and explored the opportunities available for our students. We’re looking forward to a fantastic year of learning, creativity, movement, and fun after school!

🍩🎉 Kindergarten Went DONUTS for Their i-Ready Growth! 🎉🍩

Our Kindergarten students celebrated their amazing i-Ready progress with a special "Donuts for Growth" celebration!

Throughout the year, these young learners worked hard to build their reading and math skills, and their growth showed. To recognize their effort, perseverance, and achievements, students enjoyed a sweet treat and celebrated all they accomplished this school year.

A special thank you to Ms. Bryant for recognizing and celebrating our early childhood students. Your dedication, encouragement, and commitment to helping our youngest learners succeed make a lasting impact every day. 💚

We are so proud of our Kindergarten students and all they have learned as they get ready for 1st grade! 🌟📚

Our rising 4th graders had the opportunity to sit in on a special performance by the STA Band! 🎶
As students enter 4th grade, they become eligible to join the band and begin exploring their musical talents. Band provides students with an exciting opportunity to learn an instrument, build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and express their creativity through music.
We are grateful for our partnership with Music & Arts – Music Education Services and the leadership of Maile Riedel, whose dedication helps bring high-quality music education to our students each week.
At STA, we believe the arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education, helping students grow academically, socially, and creatively.

🏆📚 3rd Grade End-of-the-Year Bowl! 📚🏆
Our 3rd grade students wrapped up the school year with an exciting End-of-the-Year Bowl! Working together in teams, students shared and celebrated all they learned throughout the year while showing off their knowledge and teamwork skills.
To recognize their hard work and accomplishments, students were awarded certificates by their teacher, Ms. V2, and celebrated a successful year of growth and learning. 🎉
We are so proud of all they have achieved and can't wait to see them continue to shine as they get ready for 4th grade!

Third Grade End-of-Year Celebration 🎓
What a wonderful way to wrap up an amazing school year! Our third-grade students celebrated their accomplishments with a special end-of-year celebration filled with smiles, memories, and recognition.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of individual awards for every student, celebrating their unique strengths, growth, and achievements throughout the year. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and the hard work they demonstrated each day.
A special thank you to Ms. V for her dedication, encouragement, and commitment to helping her students succeed. Her support and care helped make this a memorable year for the entire class.

☀️🕶️ Creativity + Learning = Summer Fun at STA! 🏗️🌟
Our students have been putting their creativity and problem-solving skills to work during Summer Program!
Our K–1st grade students designed and decorated their own fun summer sunglasses, showing off their artistic talents and unique personalities. 😎🎨
Meanwhile, our 4th–6th grade students took on an engineering challenge: building structures with toothpicks and marshmallows to see if they could withstand an "earthquake!" 🌎🏗️ Through teamwork, critical thinking, and a little trial and error, students learned what it takes to create strong and stable designs.
At STA, summer learning is hands-on, engaging, and full of opportunities to explore, create, and discover!
