Creative Scholars Preschool Learning + Play = Success

At Creative Scholars Preschool, children learn more. They create. Collaborate. Build confidence. We promise we’ll be here to answer.

Come see us for yourself, and experience our warm, welcoming and nurturing environment. Early childhood is such a short time, but those years are the most important in developing the skills that will carry one into the future to be a successful, well-rounded, conscientious individual. That is why our goal at Creative Scholars is to help foster your child’s growth during these very crucial years wi

th a child-centered, academic approach to learning. We emphasize the importance of being responsible to oneself, each other, and our earth. We strive to find the talent and interests inside each child and provide exceptional teachers that will inspire our students with all the wonders around them. We know that one of our most important roles as early childhood educators is to slow down, and answer that one word we hear over and over, “Why?” What a fascinating word. We hope your children never stop asking!

Infants are exploring and becoming more aware of the world around them. Through our activities, we are supporting emotional regulation, visual stimulation, and sensory development. The infants especially enjoy going outside for walks, where they can observe the movement of trees, experience different sights and sounds, and watch people passing by. These outdoor experiences provide engaging opportunities for them to explore their surroundings, process sensory input, and develop curiosity about the world around them.

The two-year-old engaged in pretend play by pretending to take pictures with a toy camera. They held the camera, looked through it, and practiced taking pictures of friends and objects around the classroom. This activity encouraged imagination and creativity while helping the child develop communication, social, and cognitive skills. Pretend play also supported fine motor development as the child practiced holding, pointing, and pressing the camera button. The child explored familiar experiences through play while building confidence and learning how to interact with others.
