🔥 This is the Namib Web-footed Gecko – The Smiling Gecko With Sand Shoes! 😲

Native to the deserts of Namibia and parts of southern Africa, this tiny gecko is famous for its huge eyes, see-through pink skin, and adorable “smiling” face.

Its special webbed feet work like little snowshoes, helping it run across soft sand and dig underground burrows to escape the scorching desert heat. During the day it hides beneath the sand, then comes out at night to hunt insects and spiders.

The Namib Web-footed Gecko’s pale colors help it blend perfectly into the reddish dunes of the Namib Desert, making it almost invisible to predators. Its enormous eyes also help it see in the dark.
