Flomo was born and raised in a remote Liberian village called Ganglota Town in Lofa County. There were not many opportunities to receive an education. There was no running water, no assurance of good food, and no access to even the most basic medical care. The first ten years of Flomoβs life were marked by the deadly Liberian Civil War.
When Flomo came to Liberia Mission in 2008 and someone chose to sponsor him, his life changed forever. Watch Flomo tell his incredible story of going from a beneficiary of Liberia Mission to Assistant Director, a journey made possible thanks to the generosity and support of his sponsors.
By becoming a sponsor, you can transform the life of a child in poverty, just like Flomo's sponsors. π Learn more about our child sponsorship program: https://www.franciscanworks.org/sponsor

Eight of Liberia Missionβs residential students received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday! Spiritual formation is the most important pillar of Liberia Mission, and this is a joyful testament to God's providence in our community. Please keep them in your prayers! ππ½

Charles came to Liberia Mission from St. Teresa of Calcutta's Missionaries of Charity, an orphan with no family of his own. A faithful young man, diligent student, and strong worker, Charles embraced every opportunity placed before him.
Charles now attends Stella Maris Polytechnic University where he studies accounting. Because of his strong moral character and work ethic, Charles works as an accountant for In Mary's Hands, a Catholic Spanish NGO that serves young men and women struggling with substance abuse.
Your support is transforming lives and communities in Liberia! β¨
