Welcome to the Leadership Academy FB page! The Leadership Academy is the student leadership training and development component of the IIT family.
We invest in the development of students to be true leaders and we empower them to inspire the same in others. We do this by offering:

Please join us for our final Leadership Academy Seminar of the academic year. In collaboration with Laugh at IIT Comedy Club, The Leadership Academy presents: Authentic Leadership Through Improv w/ The Second City! This seminar will take place on Saturday, March 25th from 10am-2pm in Kaplan - Tellabs.
The Second City is a world-renowned improvisational comedy theater and training center. Since its debut, The Second City has consistently been a starting point for many comedians, award-winning actors, and others in show business, including Bill Murray, Steve Carell, Jordan Peele, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Stephen Colbert, and more!
This seminar will teach you the skills of an improviser to put into practice on your stage: in meetings, in teams, in presentations - anywhere you need them to operate at peak performance. Improvisational skill is the ability to adapt and excel in
communication, collaboration, leadership, change readiness - all with boundless resilience to weather what's new and changing and unexpected. These are the skills for the world we work and live in now and for the future.
