The Local School Council is excited to welcome Mr. Giovani Toledo as the next Principal of Inter-American Magnet School.

Pictured here with LSC Chair Julie Wecsler, Mr. Toledo will begin his new role on June 15th. We look forward to partnering with him as we continue to strengthen our dual-language and multicultural school community.

El Consejo Escolar Local (CEL) se complace en dar la bienvenida al Sr. Giovani Toledo como el próximo Director de la escuela magnet Inter-Americana.

En la foto junto a la Presidenta del CEL, Julie Wecsler, el Sr. Toledo comenzará oficialmente su cargo el 15 de junio. Esperamos trabajar en conjunto con él para seguir fortaleciendo nuestra comunidad escolar bilingüe y multicultural.

Esta es nuestra última carta; queremos agradecerles el apoyo que nos brindaron y por compartir nuestra visión: apoyar a nuestros niños.

También queremos agradecerles su apoyo durante la Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros y durante uno de los días más especiales para nuestros niños: el Día del Niño. Sin su ayuda, habría sido mucho más difícil realizar un evento tan maravilloso.

Gracias nuevamente por todo. Les deseamos lo mejor en su próxima etapa.

Hello Ms. Rivera and Ms. Knott-Wilson,
As this is our last letter, we want to thank you for being the support we needed and for sharing our vision: supporting our children.

We would also like to thank and acknowledge your support for Teacher Appreciation Week and for one of the most special days for our children, Día del Niño. Without your help, it would have been much more difficult to have such a wonderful event.

Thank you again for everything. We wish you all the best in your next chapter.

¡Hola, graduados de octavo grado!

No podemos creer lo rápido que han pasado los años.

Nos entristece verlos partir, pero sabemos que es el siguiente paso hacia muchas cosas maravillosas. Les deseamos que disfruten mucho en la preparatoria y, si en algún momento sienten que las cosas se ponen difíciles, recuerden siempre sus primeros años, a sus primeros maestros y a todos sus amigos. No importa la distancia, siempre estarán a un mensaje de distancia.

Recuerden los momentos felices en IAMS, esos Días de los Niños que esperaban con ansias todo el año.

Les deseamos todo lo mejor en esta nueva etapa y en muchas más por venir.

Los extrañaremos.

Hello 8th Grade Graduates!

We can't believe how fast the years have gone by.
We're sad to see you go, but we know it's the next step to many wonderful things to come. We wish you a great time in high school, and if at any point you feel like things are getting tough, always remember your early years, your first teachers, and all your friends. No matter how far away you are, you'll always be just a text message away.

Remember your happy times at IAMS, those DIA DEL NIÑO days you looked forward to all year long.

We wish you all the best on this new journey and many more to come.
We will miss you.
