School Year 26 Registration Updates!

We are currently offering Back-to-School enrollment and transfer services between the hours of 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday. Please use Door 1 to enter the building. Our school clerk, Ms. Ashley Waller, will be happy to assist you.

New Enrollments (Transfer-In)
To enroll a student, a parent or guardian must provide:

Proof of age (original certified birth certificate required)

Proof of immunizations

Proof of current address

A complete list of acceptable documents can be found on the CPS website.

For enrollment into kindergarten or 1st grade, students must meet CPS age eligibility requirements outlined in Board Rule 6-2. The original birth certificate will be copied and returned to you.

Preschool Enrollment
Enrollment in a CPS preschool program requires a separate application process and is subject to specific eligibility guidelines based on federal and state requirements. To apply, please visit the Chicago Early Learning website.

Transfer-Out Procedures
If your child will be transferring to another school, please visit the main office between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday to complete the transfer-out process. A parent or guardian must:

Present a valid ID

Provide the name and address of the new school

Complete and sign the official transfer request form

Once completed, you will receive a transfer packet that includes your child’s academic records and required documents to enroll at their new school.

**Celebrating Black Excellence!**

Our incredible elementary school students showcased their knowledge, teamwork, and pride in today's **Black Excellence Bowl** competition! From history to culture, they answered questions with confidence and enthusiasm, demonstrating their brilliance and deep appreciation for Black heritage.

We are so proud of their hard work and dedication! A huge thank you to our teachers, families, and community for supporting our scholars on their journey of excellence.

Our talented students had an amazing time showcasing their creativity and teamwork in our Lego Robotics event! 🤖✨ It was a day filled with innovation, problem-solving, and fun as our young engineers put their skills to the test.
