Common Ground is looking for volunteers to help with this year's Masqueerade Ball on Thursday!

Masqueerade is just one week away! If you're interested in volunteering to help with decorating, set up, tear down, check in, and what not, let us know! We appreciate all your help, and we can't wait to see y'all!

Also, reminder that Common Ground will not be meeting next week (Thursday, October 27) because we'll be getting ready for Masqueerade!

SIGNAL BOOST:
Six Wolves Casting is working National Geographic to cast non-binary, genderqueer, and gender nonconforming folks on the cover of an upcoming issue of National Geographic Magazine. Specifically, they are "looking to cast a group of diverse people between the ages of 10-30 (All ethnicities, religions and socioeconomic backgrounds) who do not identify their gender as either male or female."
DETAILS:
Shoot location: NYC
Shoot date: early August
Participants would be in a group shot on the cover of magazine and will also be included on pages inside the magazine with a short descriptors of each person - name, how they identify in terms of gender, and perhaps some short audio interviews online.
The magazine will cover expenses to and from the shoot, however they do not pay a talent fee.
