Boyd County FCCLA

On Friday, May 22nd, the newly installed officer team went to work planning for the 2026-2027 school year. We are excited to see what this next year will hold for Boyd County FCCLA!

In Boyd County there’s many businesses ran by entrepreneurs. This is another one of Savannah’s business highlights from her STAR project “What’s New In Boyd County?” Entrepreneurship keeps Boyd County creative, connected, and thriving.

Boyd County FCCLA national qualifiers are serving a baked potato bar and salads for the BRAN ride. All community members are invited.

On May 5th we held our annual FCCLA awards banquet where all of our chapter’s accomplishments from the year were announced. We also recognized some community members and staff that helped us with all of our projects and activities throughout the 25-26 school year. Along with that we showed appreciation to are lovely adviser, Sherry Black. As the banquet concluded we said goodbye to our seniors and installed the new 26-27 chapter officers.

✨2026 State FCCLA Recap✨
Thirteen Boyd County FCCLA members attended the State Leadership Conference. Members attended opening and closing sessions, leadership workshops, and competed in STAR and Skill Demonstration Events. Nine individuals will be competing at National FCCLA in Washington D.C. this summer! We are incredibly proud of all our of competitors and can’t wait to see how we will continue to flourish as a chapter.

On March 29-31st members headed to Lincoln for the State Leadership Conference. Members competed in the STAR Event Competition on Monday and the Skill Demonstration Event Competition on Tuesday. Here are the results!

Being an entrepreneur is so much more than being self-employed! An entrepreneur goes out on a limb and starts something unique in a community that does not already have that good or service available. They take a chance and rely on the support of local community members to support their business! Khloe Davis has been recognized as the 2025-2026 Quarter Three STAR Member for her outstanding involvement in our chapter. She has consistently attended events with a positive attitude and has been especially helpful during community service activities. Great job Khloe, keep it up!
