If you're looking to sign your child up for the summer July 11th ACT exam, look no more for test prep. Classes start next week. Classes often have 3 to 10 students enrolled. I have been a bit delayed with posting my Miller’s Learning Center successes, but the business is still in motion, and I was very pleased to see these ACT results from my student Phin for the April test. I worked with him on reading and English and my awesome tutor Kimmy worked with him on math and science. His biggest growths were in English and math. He originally had a 27 in English and a 29 in math. Woot! Woot!!! I hope to continue to refine the tutoring approach and help students take their lessons beyond the test.

Don't forget, my reading/writing SAT Masterclass started last week. Woot! Woot! You still have two more weeks to join. There is another session tonight at 5pm CST. Most of my students score in the 700s per topic (reading/writing and math). Some students have achieved perfect scores.

Last week, we covered punctuation and subject/verb agreement. Today, we will review the lessons of punctuation and subject/verb agreement and move into transitional words, dangling modifier, parallel structure, and notes questions.

This class is shorter than others, which works well with student schedules. It targets all areas of the exam. You can sign up for just reading/writing or just math or both subject areas. Classes have reduced prices compared to individual sessions, so take advantage! The classes start next Friday. Most of my students are scoring in the 700s per subject. Spread the word!

ACT MASTERCLASS
Class starts Tuesday November 11th and ends Thursday December 11th.
Reading and English--Tuesdays from 5pm to 7pm CST
Math--Thursdays from 5pm to 7pm CST
Both classes together are $1300, each class separately is $650.
$150 will be knocked off your total if you pay by Halloween=$1150.
$75 off one class if you pay for only reading and English or only math if you pay by Halloween= $575
$50 knocked off of each class if you pay by November 7th=$600 per class

Miller's Learning Center is looking for reading/writing tutors. The starting pay is $35/hr for all reading/writing tutors. After six months of a proven track record of assisting students with gains, the pay per hour may increase but will not exceed $50/hr.
