This event is a conversation with Disability Justice and Abolitionist writers, educators, organizers, and healers, to discuss the relationship between disability justice, care, and abolition. They will share their ideas, practices, and approaches to building collective care and growing abolition.

We're having a Food Drive!

The Women's Center will host a food drive for the entire week of September 26th-30th!

Our food pantry is a necessary resource for the DePaul Campus community. We invite all community members to support us in any way possible, including sharing the flier, spreading the word, or dropping off food items!

We will accept non-perishable food items from:

Monday - Thursday 10a-4p &
Friday 10a-2p

The Women's Center is hosting Support Circles for Survivors of Sexual Violence WHEN: Every other Friday 12-1:30pm starting October 7th WHERE: The Women's Center (SAC 150) These circles are a space for DePaul students: to build community and support feel less alone in one's experience of SA be in conversation with and connection with other survivors support one another - survivor to survivor - as we navigate day-to-day difficulties get to know ourselves, explore our wants, our wishes, our hopes, and our loves, explore what kind of support we need/want strategize around ways to build networks of support within our communities engage in healing practices and to exchange and build ideas for coping Please sign up by September 25th by using the QR code or going to the link in our bio! The bitch is back! Join the Women's Center for a weekly creative space that is open to everyone who wants to craft, sit in community, or just needs to bitch for a little bit. We're here to listen and laugh in a healthy, non-judgemental environment. All supplies are provided - just bring yourself! You'll be able to knit, crochet, or stitch while enjoying some snacks - no prior experience needed - we'll teach you whatever you want to learn! Every Tuesday 3-4/5 pm in Arts & Letters room 409 starting September 20th! No need to stay the whole time - drop in as you please and stay for as long as you need!
