The first-ever UNCF National Virtual Walk for Education will take place today Saturday, September 19! The event will feature performances by Anthony Hamilton and Questlove with appearances by Shaquille O’Neal, Lynn Whitfield, Jonathan Slocumb, Wendell Pierce and others. The virtual event provides much-needed support to our member HBCUs and deserving students through scholarship support, giving them the opportunity to earn a college degree and to help better our community.
The event will be streamed here UNCF.org/NationalWalk2020 at 2 p.m. EDT; 1 p.m. CDT; and 11 a.m. PDT.
Note: If you are not pre-registered you will not be required to pay a registration fee. You will, however, be asked to provide your name, city and email address in order to gain access to view the celebration.
