Hey guys! Did you know that today is the Mid-Autumn Festival aka the Moon Cake Festival? This is how you write Mid-Autumn Festival in three different languages:
Chinese: 中秋节
Korean: 추석
Vietnamese: Tết Trung Thu
The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the two most important holidays in the Chinese calendar.
Traditionally, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and eat delicious moon cakes together (shown in the picture).
I wish that you will all enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival, and try a delicious moon cake if you're offered one! :)
P.S. Our first event will be a Welcoming Party which will be on Friday, September 26 at 5:00-7:00 in Nyvall Hall! We will update you guys with more information soon! Write that down on your calendar!
Hey guys! Hope you're enjoying your summer break so far.

It's a national celebration that celebrates Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States, and was established in 1977. It was extended from being only ten days to being a whole month!
