This past weekend, Josephinum Academy was proud to be part of Wicker Park Fest, connecting with neighbors, families, alumna, and everyone who stopped by to say hello.

Community events like these may seem like small moments, but they matter. Every conversation, every smile, every branded item handed out is another opportunity to remind Chicago that Josephinum Academy is still here educating young women to lead with faith, intellect, and compassion.

At Josephinum Academy, we believe being present in our community reflects who we are as a school. Because when people know we're here, more young women have the opportunity to discover a place where they are truly seen.

Here, your daughter isn't just another face in the crowd. She is known by name, encouraged by teachers who believe in her, supported by a sisterhood that celebrates her gifts, and challenged to become the person she is called to be.

Congratulations to Evelyn C., '27, Josephinum Academy's newest Cubs Scholar! Through the Cubs Scholars Program, Evelyn will receive additional college preparation support and a four-year college scholarship as she pursues her higher education goals.

This achievement reflects Evelyn's hard work and dedication, as well as the commitment of our Student Services team, whose mentorship and guidance helped make this opportunity possible!

This week, members of the Josephinum Academy team joined hundreds of Catholic school leaders from across the country at the National Advancement Summer Institute for Catholic Schools in Chicago. Through inspiring sessions, meaningful conversations, and collaboration with peers, they explored new ideas in advancement, enrollment, marketing, alumni engagement, and mission-driven leadership.

Thank you to Partners in Mission for hosting such an inspiring week of learning and connection. We're grateful for the opportunity and excited to bring these ideas back to our Josephinum Academy community as we continue to strengthen our mission and serve our students.

Proud to spotlight Josephinum alumna Jonbernet Gonzaga, Class of 2016. Jonbernet reflects on how Josephinum provided structure, independence, and a support system that continued to guide her long after graduation. Even through life’s hardest moments, including the loss of a close friend who believed deeply in her, the foundation built at Josephinum remained a source of strength. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a focus in Food Science and Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. Today, she works in change management, carrying forward the resilience, leadership, and discipline cultivated at Josephinum. Her journey is a powerful testament to the enduring impact of a Josephinum education.
