As we get closer to the end of the school year, we’re preparing to celebrate an important milestone for our 8th graders, their transition to high school, end of year events, and the chance to make lasting memories together.
For many of our students, this moment represents much more than finishing middle school. Our school community is incredibly diverse, with families from all over the world and more than 30 languages spoken throughout our building. Many of our students are immigrants or refugees who arrived here with very little, and their families continue working hard every day to build new lives.
Because of this, the cost of end of year activities can be a real barrier. We never want a student to miss out on these experiences because of financial hardship.
We are asking for your support to help make sure every 8th grader can participate in their field trips, celebration, and graduation ceremony, moments they truly deserve.
If you are able to give, any amount makes a difference. If you are not able to donate, sharing this post helps more than you know.
