📊 Have you ever looked at your reports and thought... "Now what?"

You're not alone.

One of the biggest challenges I see in dental practices isn't a lack of data. It's knowing how to turn that data into meaningful action.

Reports don't improve your practice.

The decisions you make because of those reports do.

That's why I spend so much time helping teams understand which numbers actually matter, how often to review them, and what actions to take when those numbers start moving.

When your team understands the story behind the numbers, you stop reacting to problems and start leading with confidence.

I love hearing stories like this from our members because the goal has never been to simply run reports. It's to help practices use their data to make smarter decisions, strengthen accountability, and create lasting growth.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is listening.

Every coaching call, consulting visit, training event, and member conversation gives me a glimpse into what dental practices are experiencing right now.

Over the past few weeks, one trend has stood out more than any other.

The practices making the biggest strides this year aren't simply working harder.

They're building better systems.

They're improving reporting, strengthening communication, creating better onboarding experiences, increasing accountability, and making smarter workflow decisions.

That's encouraging because meaningful progress doesn't always come from making a huge change.

More often, it comes from making small improvements consistently.

This is the first post in a new series I'm calling Practice Pulse—where I'll share real trends I'm seeing in dental practices and practical insights you can apply to your own office.

🤖 AI is transforming dentistry... but not every AI tool is ready for your practice.

I recently had a great conversation with William May from Mango Voice, and we talked about one of the biggest questions dental teams should be asking before adopting AI.

Just because an AI platform says it can schedule appointments doesn't mean it's ready to manage one of the most important parts of your practice.

Before investing in any AI solution, ask:
✔ How does it integrate with your practice management software?
✔ Is it secure?
✔ Has it been proven in real dental practices?
✔ Does it actually improve your team's workflow?

Think about it this way... you wouldn't trust a brand-new employee to manage your schedule without training. AI deserves that same level of evaluation.
