Good afternoon, everyone!

Our last meeting of the semester is approaching and we invite you to learn more about self-care in a workshop hosted by the UIC Wellness Center.

This hectic semester has been filled with deadlines and exams, and your stress and fatigue feel almost overwhelming. Despite this, are you taking the necessary time to recharge, heal, and support your overall health?

As the semester comes to an end, we wanted to help you take care of yourself during these stressful times with a “Self-Care is Self-Preservation” workshop. This workshop encourages you to spend quality time on your well-being and not feel guilty. We hope to motivate and provide you with the tools to help make self-care happen. You will learn about the Seven Pillars of Self-Care, its definition of use, the risks associated with self-neglect, and gain the ideas and guidance needed to make self-care number one on your to-do list.

We had so much fun volunteering at the Hot Chocolate Run yesterday with Pre-OT Club at UIC and Rehabilitation Sciences Club (RSC) at UIC. We passed out cups of water to the runners and cheered them on! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
