Our first-graders recently completed a activity at home. Using the Pixar "Toy Story" movies as inspiration, students devised stories about toys in their own homes, imagining what the toys do when they come alive. Creative work!

Chicago City Day School's annual Science Fair is not far away, and so Mrs. Gray, who runs our library, discussed resources and techniques with sixth-graders to help them get started with their projects. Mrs. Gray is working with other grades, too, in the weeks before the Science Fair, which is scheduled for early March.
