The Cultural Centers have spaces and programs to be in community with others and feel less alone. The Women's Leadership and Resource Center is also open if you want to stop by, grab a snack, color, or talk to an advocate.

Join CAN and the Women's Leadership and Resource Center for "Girl Interrupted: The Lies We Were Told, The Truths We Discover," a storytelling circle exploring the complex journey from girlhood to womanhood. This circle is a space to share personal experiences and reflect on the pressures, misinformation, and "lies" we're told about growing up.
Co-facilitated by UIC student Nwadum Tendong as part of the development of her undergraduate capstone project.

Join us for an impactful event with the inspiring Stephanie Skora on Thursday, October 31st!
Dive deep into the role of civic engagement in social justice and learn how speaking up and taking action can drive meaningful change. Skora, co-founder and Chief Development Officer of Brave Space Alliance and creator of the "Girl, I Guess" Progressive Voter Guide, will discuss what it means to engage with current issues and make change on a local level through a progressive lens, from voting, to watchdog research, to protesting against a genocide.

Each week, we will begin with a trauma-informed meditation to set an intentional tone before diving into our workout. Here’s a look at the themes we’ll explore:
