versity in River Forest, IL, LAP serves a wide variety of users ranging from students and scholars to the general public and makes records available at the archives as well as provides programs and online resources. The Lithuanian Archives Project is a pioneer in digitizing the Lithuanian diaspora's audio and video materials, bringing together scholars, historians, archivists and librarians in its efforts to preserve the legacy of Lithuanians for future generations. Below is a gem of a reel slated for digitization later this year …. From the Voice of America declassified US government funded recordings… we have 16 boxes that we received from Washington, DC six months before the Voice of America offices were closed. A big thank you to Audrius Kirvelaitis and Vytenis Kirvelaitis for assisting in the transfer of this treasure of a collection to our offices in Chicago. 🙌🙌🙌
