Over 300 community members came out to celebrate community and have a great time on Saturday. We saw powerful performances put together by Pyramid Players Productions from our young artists at MADD Rhythms West: The BBF Crew Move Me Soul and The Happiness Club, the younger kids got to have fun playing games and doing arts and crafts with volunteers from Accenture, and families got to access resources and ate all the great food we grilled up! A huge thanks to everyone who participated in this great event! And a special thanks to the Chicago Park District for your support!

As I start my coffee & water diet (lol), I just wanted to thank Tin Gill and Brenda Shiller for truly coming thru for the committee this weekend! Michelle Santosrodriguez and Carl, I truly appreciate you guys for everything! Dione Nonelikeme, give your sister a hug for me!!
I wanna thank my classmates for coming out, via plane, train and automobile and making this one of the most memorable weekends of my life! For your positivity, for lending a hand when you saw it was needed, for reminding me to stop sweating the small stuff and for trusting us with your weekend!!

The Columbus Park Fest is right around the corner! Music, dance and rap performances, softball exhibitions from some of the best from our communities, softball clinics for the kids, and more!! 11 - 3pm August 6th. Bring your grills and chairs out to celebrate summer fun.
