Earlier this quarter, we joined Star Farm Chicago for a Field to Fork trek! We volunteered at one of their farm sites in the morning, learned about their impact in Back of the Yards and surrounding neighborhoods, and enjoyed a delicious afternoon lunch made with fresh ingredients from the farm. Students also took home produce bags filled with fresh vegetables 🥕🥔

Thank you to for hosting us and for the incredible work you do in the community!

We look forward to bringing more programs like this one to students in the next academic year! 💚

Throwback to our Immigrant Voices: Entrepreneurship in the Culinary Arts Panel 🍽️

We had such a wonderful evening hearing from local culinary entrepreneurs about the connection between food, identity, and community. Students got to learn the stories behind each restaurant, how food can be a form of cultural storytelling and representation, and what it means to create spaces of belonging through food.

A special thank you to our featured restaurants Nabala Cafe (), Taste of Peru () and Yasssa () for such an engaging conversation and delicious food!
