Currently, the most accurate way to diagnose a food allergy is through a food challenge. Unfortunately, one of the risks associated with food challenges is the risk of anaphylaxis. By doing this study, we hope to learn if there is a more safe and accurate way of testing whether people have a food allergy.
Who can participate?
• Individuals with a food allergy to peanut and/or egg
• Individuals without any food allergies
• All ages are invited
Study participation includes:
• A single study visit (about 1 hour)
• A blood draw
• $30 compensation and parking voucher

The predominant pollen in the today remains tree pollen but the grass pollen also started appearing in the air today. By early May we expect the grass pollen to be in full force. Did you know that we only become allergic to wind pollinated trees? Trees that have beautiful flowers with strong aromas, such as apple or cherry trees attract insects for pollination.

Hickory trees continue to top the in Chicago today. Hickory trees are glorious shade trees that reach heights of up to 100ft and have canopies that extend 70ft across. You can identify Hickory trees by their vertical bark that tends to "flake" off in mature trees. The leaves are thin and multiple leaves are attached to the same stem.
