CICS, founded in 1997, is one of Illinois’ largest charter networks with two decades of experience managing a diverse portfolio of innovative public charter schools. Our vibrant network of diverse Chicago charter schools enables students to thrive every day, puts them on a path to success in college and life, and empowers entrepreneurial educators to pursue excellence through innovation. CICS educates more than 7,300 students in grades K-12 who travel from 56 different Chicago neighborhoods to attend one of its 13 campuses.
