The NEIU Orchestra performed the last concert of the year last night.
It has been such a joy to witness the growth of this ensemble over the past few months, and I am so proud of each one of these musicians and the way they rose to the occasion to put together a wonderful performance. It was a pleasure to welcomed back some familiar faces and members of our faculty!
Congratulations to everyone!! 👏👏👏 I look forward to future performances!

Congratulations to on completing her MA Lecture Recital tonight! It was a wonderful event presenting music for violin by black composers William Grant Still, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and Regina Baiocchi. Annokyewaa was surrounded by her family, friends, students, former and current class mates, and composer Regina Baiocchi. They all showed their support with a standing ovation. We are very proud of Anokyewaa’s accomplishment and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for her! Bravo! 👏👏👏
